CERSUS Parts

Know what you have, what is reserved and what needs ordering.

A practical parts system for stock, suppliers, purchasing, workshop requests and counter sales.

CERSUS Parts is being developed to keep the full parts journey visible, from supplier order and goods-in to the shelf, the workshop and the customer.

In development. Standalone Parts: £199 per month, per dealership/site. Parts is also included with CERSUS Workshop, so a separate Parts subscription is not required with Workshop.

Initial setup: £250. Multiple products or sites: setup price TBA. No VAT is currently charged. Talk to Kevin about availability and setup.

CERSUS Parts desktop stock and purchasing workspace

One dependable stock position

Give the parts team a clear answer before the chasing starts.

The useful question is not just how many are on the shelf. The team needs to know what is available, reserved for a job, already on order or waiting to be received.

Parts counter

Search products, part numbers, suppliers and compatibility without checking separate lists.

Workshop requests

Keep the part with the job, vehicle and branch that asked for it.

Purchasing

CERSUS keeps an eye on minimum stock levels and advises the team when an item is running low or should be reordered.

Stock control

Preserve a clear movement history instead of changing totals without an explanation.

Parts journey

From supplier order to the vehicle that needs it.

Each movement has a reason, so the current position can be trusted by Parts, Workshop and management.

  • 01Find or create

Search by product name, part number, barcode, supplier or vehicle-fitment note.

  • 02Order

Turn demand and minimum-stock rules into a controlled supplier order.

  • 03Receive and scan

Scan each part in as the delivery arrives, checking the quantity, actual cost and any difference from the supplier order.

  • 04Store

Put stock into the right branch, stockroom, shelf and bin.

  • 05Reserve and issue

Reserve parts for approved work, then reduce stock only when the part is actually issued.

  • 06Return or reorder

Keep returns, credits, adjustments and replenishment in the same audit trail.

The everyday controls

Keep the catalogue, suppliers and physical stock together.

Development is focused on trustworthy stock and simple day-to-day handling before wider automation.

Catalogue

Find the right product quickly.

Keep internal SKUs, manufacturer and supplier numbers, barcodes, brands, categories, images, pricing, VAT and practical compatibility notes on one product record.

Suppliers

Know who supplies it and on what terms.

Keep account references, contacts, supplier part numbers, pack sizes, lead-time notes and current costs close to the product.

Stock locations

Know where the part actually is.

See branch, stockroom, shelf and bin information, with on-hand, reserved, available and on-order quantities kept separate. Minimum and maximum levels are monitored so low-stock advice appears before availability becomes a problem.

Planned workshop flow

A parts request is not the same as a stock movement.

Workshop can identify what a job needs and Parts can source it early. Reservation and issue remain controlled, so approved work, physical stock and the job record stay aligned.

  1. 01Request

The job identifies the required part, quantity and vehicle.

  2. 02Confirm

Parts checks fitment, availability, price and lead time.

  3. 03Reserve

Available stock is held against approved work without disappearing from the audit trail.

  4. 04Issue

Stock changes only when the part is handed to the job, returned or adjusted with a reason.

Built for the working day

Useful on the counter, in the stockroom and beside the job.

Goods-in, stock checking, workshop issue and stocktaking are designed to work comfortably on a phone or tablet as well as a desktop.

Developed in practical stages

Trust the stock first, then add the automation.

The core is being built around a reliable ledger, clear permissions and dealer or branch separation before purchase-order sending, payments and external fitment data are added.
