Stock photography at your site

Get the cars ready. I’ll take care of the photographs.

Whether you run an independent dealership, a garage or another motor-trade business, I can come to you and photograph the stock you want to advertise.

A consistent set of pictures gives buyers a proper look at each vehicle and saves your team taking and sorting photographs between other jobs. It helps prepared vehicles get advertised sooner.

  • Exterior angles, interior and luggage space.
  • Wheels, key features and useful equipment.
  • Condition marks and details a buyer should see.

Walkarounds and short clips

Show what a still photograph cannot

A straightforward walkaround can show the vehicle inside and out, explain useful features and give the buyer a better feel for its condition.

If you need short clips for social posts, we can include those too. We agree the vehicles, length, format and what needs covering before the visit.

Appraisal and report imagery

Record the details that matter

Appraisal photographs can record wheels, interiors, condition marks and other details needed for your report, separate from the main advert photographs.

Where relevant, we can capture service or history details too. Personal information in paperwork, screens or other images is kept out of the material prepared for publication.

Ready for the channels you use

Agree where the media needs to go

I can prepare the agreed photos and videos for your dealer website, Auto Trader and the social channels you use. We agree the formats and how the files will be delivered beforehand, ready for you or your team to upload.

Arranging a visit

Tell me what needs doing

We agree the work and costs before booking the visit. Availability and travel costs are considered individually.

  1. Discuss your stock. Tell me your location, the number of vehicles and where the media will be used.
  2. Agree the requirements and costs. Decide what to photograph or film, the formats needed and any travel costs.
  3. Arrange the visit. Agree a suitable date and which vehicles will be ready.
  4. Receive the agreed media. I deliver the photographs and videos in the formats we agreed.

Practical staff training

Training for better vehicle photos and videos

Not every dealership needs someone external taking photos every week. Sometimes the biggest improvement is helping the people already on site know what works.

I can help your team with positioning the car, choosing angles, showing useful details, avoiding messy backgrounds and making straightforward videos with the equipment they already use.

Separately booked training: £250 for a full day or £150 for a half day. Initial staff training at your premises is included in the agreed paid-software setup. For separately booked training, we agree the requirements and any travel costs before booking. No VAT is currently charged.

  • Help staff feel more confident with photos and video.
  • Show the team what customers want to see before they visit.
  • Build a simple routine that works on a busy day.
  • Keep adverts looking more professional and consistent.

Photography and video tools

Practical tools for cleaner stock media

For teams keeping some or all of their media work in-house, Photo Suite and Video Suite can support a consistent routine alongside practical training.

Photo Suite

Cleaner vehicle images without spending hours editing

Most dealer sites are busy, and there is not always room to photograph every car in a perfect spot. Photo Suite helps tidy up the presentation with branded backgrounds and cleaner vehicle images.

Image backgrounds can be built quickly and used for your website, adverts and social posts. The aim is simple: make the car look right online and keep the advert looking properly put together.

Photo Suite pricing is to be announced. Talk to Kevin about your requirements.

  • Photograph every car in the same clear way.
  • Use branded backgrounds where they help.
  • Make adverts and stock pages look cleaner.
  • Save time compared with manual editing.

Stock Video

Let the car do more of the talking

CERSUS can help you build a straightforward routine for making vehicle videos. Video Suite Lite is free; the full Video Suite is included with the DMS.

A short vehicle video can show condition, features and key details before the customer makes the trip.

Opens Video Studio Lite on the DealDesk site.

  • Make a straightforward video for each vehicle.
  • Show the car clearly and help the customer see what matters.
  • Help the customer get a proper feel for the car.
  • Save time with a simple video process.

Sales Video

Simple video for enquiries and follow-up

Sometimes a quick video answers a customer’s question better than another message. Show the feature or condition they have asked about. If paperwork or service history is relevant, keep personal information out of anything shared.

  • Answer customer questions clearly.
  • Make follow-up feel more personal.
  • Show a feature, condition, paperwork or service history.
  • Help the customer understand the next step.
